Under the guidance of Police bbc news radio and Professionals producer Niger Grey, Screaming reached a respectable number 27 in U.K. album chart. The punk abandon of the first two albums may have been glossed over but the energy bbc news radio and attitude remained with the band enjoying their new set of songs especially on the live circuit which by now was beginning to cover many more territories around the world. This remastered release includes a full-lengh concert broadcast made by BBC Radio One of their In Concert series bbc news radio and also adds a track from the Wildlife EP released a few months prir to Enid Williams departure.Released in June 1982, Screaming Blue Murder was Girlschools third full lengh album release for the Bronze Records label.
